Nike Air Max 98 La Mezcla

Part of the capsule collection from the Nike: On Air contest, the Air Max 98 ‘On Air: NYC La Mezcla’ was designed by New York native Gabrielle Serrano. The shoe’s wavy layered upper includes an ombre panel, which gives the shoe its ‘Mezcla’ nickname by representing the diversity of New York City. A cracked grey leather mudguard pays tribute to the idea of the concrete jungle, while a blue Max Air unit provides cushioning underfoot.
